In one of the two keynote presentations at the workshop “Digital Sovereignty: Clarification of Technical and Practical Implementation Issues” on May 23rd, 2022, Dr. Helko Lehmann presented special requirements of the MERLOT project resulting from the handling of personal data: Users must be enabled to handle their own educational data in a data-sovereign manner. This requires new technical solutions in a trustworthy ecosystem, but also the development of corresponding digital competencies.
