The second Consortium Meeting of the Gaia-X MERLOT project took place at the 29th and 30th of November 2022 in Dortmund, organised by International Data Spaces Association (IDSA).
During the two-days meeting the project partners reviewed the progress of the first year and planned for the upcoming activities aiming at the first MVP-release of MERLOT Marketplace and Advanced Smart Education Services in June 2023. The main focus of the meeting was on the discussion of functional and technical requirements, the architecture of the data space and the marketplace, as well as MVPs of the services. Furthermore, the underlying research topics, such as educational path models, data-driven business models, legal and ethical requirements were analysed. Finally, piloting and communication activities were synchronised with the work of technical work packages.
All in all, the project demonstrated a good progress towards the set goals and milestones and showed well prepared for the second project year.
